Opportunities to Help
At Family First Therapy, our volunteers are an essential part of our team and play a key role in delivering the highest quality care to the children we serve. Volunteering with us offers a wonderful opportunity to observe experienced pediatric therapists while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive and welcoming environment.
As a volunteer, you'll assist with important tasks that help our clinic run smoothly. This includes maintaining a clean and organized space, supporting front desk activities, preparing therapy materials, and assisting therapists during sessions. Your support allows our therapists to focus on what matters most: client care and progress.
We ask our volunteers to join us for at least 8 weeks, with a commitment of just 4 hours per week. Shifts are available Monday-Thursday from 9 AM to 1 PM or 1 PM to 5 PM.
Family First Therapy will gladly sign off on all volunteer and observation hours required for academic or professional purposes.

At Family First Therapy, we strive to provide valuable learning experiences and observation opportunities that contribute to your professional growth. We welcome students for internships and are committed to offering a meaningful experience. However, please note that we currently do not offer any paid internships. We appreciate your understanding and dedication to working with us in a volunteer capacity.

Speech Therapy Fieldwork and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
At Family First Therapy, we are delighted to accept students pursuing fieldwork placements in speech therapy, as well as those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). We are dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching environment where students can apply their academic knowledge and gain hands-on experience. Our experienced team is committed to mentoring and guiding students through their fieldwork and CFY, helping them develop their professional skills and achieve their career goals in pediatric speech therapy.
Occupational Therapy Fieldwork and Capstone Projects
We also welcome students seeking fieldwork placements and capstone projects in occupational therapy. At Family First Therapy, we offer a dynamic and collaborative setting where students can actively participate in the therapeutic process and enhance their practical skills. Our team is eager to support and mentor students throughout their fieldwork and capstone experiences, ensuring they gain valuable insights and hands-on practice in pediatric occupational therapy.
